E-V CONCEPTS
2009 Production ELECTRIC Vehicles
Berlinetta E-V
This is the first fiberglass concept car designed by E-V Concepts back in 1979. This body design concept was modeled from the Ferrari Boxer Berlinetta from late1970's. This was E-V Concepts answer to a low cost environmentally friendly exotic car. At that time lead acid batteries were the only choice for electric vehicle conversions and the fiberglass bodies were mounted on the heavier framed cars such as the Camaro and Mustang chassis's using DC motors connected to the factory transmissions.
Over the past five years E-V Concepts has been building electric vehicles with lithium batteries. The Berlinetta E-V is built on the kitcar platform using the suspension and interior of an existing domestic or foreign donor vehicle with the fiberglass body over it. As the Sigma GTE on the bottom of the webpage these vehicles have many design and power options. (Starting price $23,000)
Rixster NEV (Neighborhood Electric Vehicle)
This is E-V Concepts idea of the safe city commuter vehicle. With the use of low cost high production golf cart components and a steel tubular chassis designed for speeds over fifty mph. The fiberglass bodies are designed after full sized antique vehicles and not golf cart miniatures. The conventional sized wheels and tires and steel tubular chassis gives you the ride and safety of a conventional sized vehicle. These cars are made to order and we do build handicap, wheelchair accessible models and four seat models with many design and power options. (Starting price $7000)
Pro Street Electric Motorcycle
We can now do things that were once not a safe consideration. With the use of small, light weight lithium batteries we can now have full size electric motorcycles that are capably of cruising the freeways with two adults safely. With acceleration and top speeds to match the gas powered cruisers without the noise and vibration. With 110 AC charging in thirty minutes and 80 mile range is not out of the question. Many style and power options are available. This a one of a kind fiberglass fairing and the proprietary lithium battery management system designed by E-V Concepts. (Starting price $7,500)
Sigma GTE (All wheel drive - supercar)
This electric supercar was designed to meet everyone's needs, any place, any driving conditions and offers features no other high speed electric vehicle in the world offers. Our one advantage we share with other e-v supercars is the lithium battery which unlike lead acid batteries they are not affected by colder temperatures. Since we now have the ability to drive in snow and ice covered mountain roads it seemed accurate to have all four wheels driving for the best performance in any weather.
Unique to the Sigma GTE is that both the front and rear independent suspension drive systems have an electric motor that is capable of 200 hp and 300 lbs of torque each. One of the great advantages to the electric supercar is it can sit in traffic all day and never have a problem. This car was designed to carry four adults comfortably and safely at over 120 mph or anything slower. With a design option of an onboard hybrid charging system to create an unlimited range. Two wheel drive models start at $23,000 and all wheel drive starting price is $55,000.
